Abstract

Lifelong education is an educational system that explains the whole event of teaching and learning activities in the whole of human life. This research is a qualitative research with case study type. The purpose of this research is to find out how the implementation of the PUSPAGA (Family Learning Center) program at Balai RW in Kapasan Village, Surabaya City as a progressive step in building the concept of lifelong learning for the community. Data were obtained from observations, interviews and documentation of the PUSPAGA Balai RW program. The results showed that the concept of PUSPAGA Balai RW as a progressive step in relation to lifelong education in an effort to build family resilience was implemented in the program: (1) complaint service for child & family problems (2) service for prospective brides (Catin) (3) parenting at RW Hall and (4) PUSPAGA goes to school as socialization related to the theme of education and violence against children
